The State is by your side: veterans and their families from Dnipropetrovsk region received certificates for purchasing housing
Another 19 defenders and their family members from communities in Dnipropetrovsk region received certificates for purchasing housing. The documents were handed over by Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Shymanskyi together with Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ivan Nachovny.
The certificates allow them to choose the type and location of their new home. Having their own housing is an important support for those who defended the state and are now rebuilding their lives after service.
In total, the region received almost UAH 215 million this year, enabling 89 soldiers and families of fallen heroes to be provided with their own homes.
After the ceremony of awarding certificates, Oleg Shymanskyi and Ivan Nachovny held a meeting with representatives of the Regional State Administration's structural units, with the participation of veterans' public organisations and community leaders from Dnipropetrovsk region. The main focus was on expanding access to services for veterans, their families, and the families of fallen defenders.
The presentation of housing certificates was made possible thanks to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the Ukraine Facility.
