People whose homes have been damaged by missile attacks can apply for compensation under the eVidnovlennia programme. This was emphasised by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government session on 15 August.
“36,000 citizens have already applied for compensation to repair the damaged housing, and 7,000 have received funds to rebuild their homes,” the Prime Minister said.
According to the Head of Ukrainian Government, starting today, commissions will be launched in communities to consider compensation for completely destroyed housing. An application for such compensation can be submitted through Diia, and 1,400 Ukrainians have already used this service.
“We will help to repair and rebuild everything. The Government has allocated all the necessary resources to pay compensation, and now the speed of receiving the funds depends on the efficiency of local communities,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed.
