The Government will do everything it takes to ensure that all Ukrainians have heat and hot water this winter. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal promised during a working trip to Chernihiv region on July 13.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government visited the Chernihiv cogeneration plant, which had been ruined significantly by shelling of the russian troops in March.
"russian terrorist troops deliberately bombed the Chernihiv cogeneration station. Now the Government allocates UAH 100 million for the repair and equipment. Thanks to these funds, residents of Chernihiv and the region will be with heating this winter," said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, during the Government meeting, a total of almost UAH 300 million was allocated for the repair of three CHP plants in Chernihiv, Okhtyrka and Kremenchuk.
"As promised, we will exert every effort to ensure that Ukrainians throughout the country have heating, water and electricity. Preparation for the heating season is one of the most important stages of rapid reconstruction. In general, the Government has already allotted almost UAH 2.5 billion to the regions," stressed Denys Shmyhal.
