The Government has approved changes to the procedure for providing grants for the creation or development of processing enterprises. These changes primarily concern the de-occupied territories. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government session.

"We want people to return, create new businesses and workplaces. We are helping businesses that continue to operate in the frontline regions. To do this, we are introducing the following changes: the state will provide a grant of 80% of the project cost for a processing plant in the de-occupied or frontline areas instead of 50%. 20% is co-financing from the entrepreneur," the Head of Government noted.

Meanwhile, according to the Prime Minister, the adopted amendments will allow local authorities to co-finance the project of a processing enterprise located in the territory of the community.
