Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met in Kyiv with Minister of Defence of the Netherlands Kajsa Ollongren.

The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked for the support in strengthening Ukraine's air defence. He commended the initiative of the Netherlands to jointly supply Ukraine with Patriot Missile Defence Systems.

"We also look forward to the soonest possible delivery of F-16 aircraft, which will help protect people and infrastructure," said Denys Shmyhal.

The parties also addressed joint defence production and technology exchange. They also discussed the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

"We appreciate the fact that the Netherlands will be represented at the highest level," the Prime Minister stressed.

Another important topic of the meeting was Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. Denys Shmyhal noted that Ukraine relies on the active advocacy of the Netherlands in further work with key partners of the Alliance to provide comprehensive support to our country.
