Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy, together with Christian Bruch, CEO of Siemens Energy, visited one of the energy facilities in Kyiv.

Denys Shmyhal showed his partners the damage caused by russian strikes and thanked the company for its significant support this winter, which had helped the Ukrainian power system to withstand the challenges.

The parties discussed preparations for next winter, the priority needs of Ukrainian energy companies, and the expansion of cooperation.

As Denys Shmyhal noted, Siemens Energy is already a reliable partner for Ukraine in strengthening energy resilience.

“We count on the development of joint projects in distributed and flexible generation, grid strengthening, substation modernisation, and the implementation of modern technologies,” emphasised the Minister of Energy.
