The Government has approved the Strategy for the formation of a system of transition from military service to civilian life until 2032, as well as the Action Plan to support the adaptation of veterans for the next two years. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“The Strategy will create a clear algorithm and system of support for Ukraine’s heroic veterans to ensure comfortable conditions for them from the first day after discharge from service, to help them find a job or start their own business,” the Head of Government said.
According to the Prime Minister, four key strategic objectives, a monitoring process and organisational support have been identified. Denys Shmyhal added that the strategy would be submitted to the National Security and Defence Council for consideration.
