Ukraine has been working hard to complete the formation of an effective and modern anti-corruption infrastructure. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a media conference on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Government's tenure.

"The Head of the SAPO (Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine - ed.) has been appointed and is working. The HACC (High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine - ed.) is operational and making decisions. The NACP (National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine - ed.) is up and running. We have approved the anti-corruption strategy. We are finalizing the anti-corruption program. We expect to appoint a head of the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine - ed.) next week," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister noted that there was no structural corruption in Ukraine. There is a human factor when a person is tempted to corruption, and the state must eliminate this factor, including through digitalization. He noted that Ukraine had made great progress in this area, as even foreign partners were adopting Diia's experience.

"Today, Ukrainian society and the Ukrainian Government, as part of Ukrainian society, display zero tolerance for corruption. It is critical that all decisions regarding people suspected of corruption are made politically very quickly. Institutions are responding instantly today. This is a good indicator for the society and our partners that we do not tolerate corrupt officials," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
