Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal inspected the operation of energy facilities during a working visit to Odesa region.
The Head of Government was briefed on the arrangement of the third level of engineering protection at one of the facilities and the financing needs. The timing of the project was agreed with the government team and representatives of the regional military administration. The government officials also visited the heat generation facility and discussed its modernisation and operation this winter.
“This year, the Government has allocated billions of hryvnias to restore and protect the power system,” said Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, preparations for the autumn-winter period are underway in all areas and the necessary range of works is being carried out.
“We need to get through this winter with confidence and stability. This requires coordination between the Government and local authorities. All heads of regional military administrations have clear tasks and are responsible for their implementation,” the Prime Minister stressed.
