On 13 March, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with the leadership of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headed by First Vice President Jürgen Rigterink, in Kyiv.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the EBRD has already invested more than EUR 3 billion in Ukraine's economy. First of all, in support of energy security, infrastructure, food, trade and the private sector. Grateful for the significant increase in investment in Ukraine," the Head of the Ukrainian Government said.
The parties discussed Ukraine's economic priorities. In particular, grant support for small and medium-sized businesses, the development of processing and defence industry, humanitarian demining, and green energy.
The EBRD representatives assured that they would keep supporting the Ukrainian economy.
