  • Denys Maliuska and Liudmyla Suhak met with Ministers of Justice of the G7 countries

    On May 9-10, 2024, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Maliuska and his Deputy for European Integration Liudmyla Suhak held a series of meetings with Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová, State Minister of Justice of Japan Hiroaki Kadoyama and Federal Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany Marco Buschmann during their official visit to Venice (Italy). In addition, representatives of the delegation of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine met with the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Alexander Chalk, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada Arif Virani.

    Denys Maliuska emphasized that Ukraine appreciates the efforts of the United Kingdom and Canada in bringing russia to justice for its international crimes. At the end of the meetings, the Minister of Justice of Ukraine thanked his colleagues for the consultations and joint work aimed at restoring justice for Ukraine.

    The Minister of Justice of Ukraine also gave a series of interviews to representatives of the Italian and German media during his official visit to Venice on the occasion of the G7 Justice Ministers' Meeting.
