In January-October 2021, the state budget received UAH 44 billion more than expected. Local budgets obtained UAH 13.5 billion more than planned and UAH 47 billion more than last year. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted during a regular meeting of the Government on November 24.
"An increase in state budget revenues has allowed us to allot more funds for subsidies, medicine, infrastructure, support for the economy and citizens," said Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, higher budget receipts appear one of the factors of macroeconomic stability of the State.
The Prime Minister also reminded that on November 22, the IMF Board of Governors had approved the disbursement of the second tranche for Ukraine to the tune of almost $700 million.
