The Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal commended the positive dynamics of loans issued under the state program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%".

According to the Ministry of Finance, within the framework of the state program "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%", the authorized banks during last week concluded 196 new loan agreements totaling UAH 638 million.

"The President's initiative pays off, and small and medium-sized businesses receive cheap credit. The dynamics of loans issued is definitely positive, as their number has actually doubled in the last week. At that, the percentage of refusals by banks continues to decline and this is also part of the success of the updated program," the Prime Minister stressed.

In total, as of July 27, 2020, 1.466 loans to the tune of UAH 2.413 billion have been issued.
