The Government prolongs active cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. The next IMF mission in Ukraine starts today. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting on February 23.

"We welcome the start of another mission of the International Monetary Fund. Economically resilient and stable Ukraine is one of our main long-term responses to the aggressor's actions," stressed Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister also noted that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had suggested international partners to establish a Stability and Reconstruction Fund for Ukraine.

"It should ensure macroeconomic and macro-financial stability, as well as contribute to the large-scale transformation of the country we are brigning about," the Head of Government said.

Denys Shmyhal stressed that the support by the civilized world for such a Fund would be the best investment in stability in Europe and on European borders.
