From May the Naftogaz's gas price for heating and gas supplying companies should make up UAH 8,247 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine provided the Naftogaz with the opportunity to reduce gas prices for the population. This decision corresponds to the goal of market pricing for natural gas for all categories of consumers and, thus is in line with Ukraine's commitments to the International Monetary Fund.

If charges for gas will differ from UAH 8,247 per 1,000 cubic meters, the population can  file a complaint to the Government hotline 1545.
