The Government's Fair Bill initiative, which provides for the establishment of a marginal and reasonable price for heating and hot water throughout Ukraine, is a real tool designed to protect people, but not empty promises of populists who offer prospects to lower tariffs, but do not offer anything as mechanisms to fulfill such a promise. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on the Ukrayina TV channel.

The Head of Government made a promise that the Government's decision on reducing the cost of resources would be fulfilled. "Decisions have to be executed, I will control", said Volodymyr Groysman.

According to him, the analysis of the situation has shown that certain companies that are heating and water providers in the regions conceited themselves to be real communal grandees that plunder people and the State.

"We embarked on studying the situation and found out, for instance: Donetsk region - district heating provider belongs to an offshore company from Cyprus. Sumy region - a company that provides heating services has been registered in the Seychelles. Sumy - a Cyprus company again. People are fixed onerous tariffs, expenses are substantial, and money is transferred to offshore companies. People get left in hardship", the Head of Government said. "The Government decision is to lower prices! I gave instructions to all concerned - the Antimonopoly Committee, all the services, to settle the problem and to find where the money goes."

Volodymyr Groysman appealed to local leaders with a demand to protect people. "Give people real numbers (cost of resources). A fair bill is an efficient protection tool", summed up the Prime Minister.
