The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has been de-energised again as a result of russia's military shelling, stressed Minister of Energy German Galushchenko on his Facebook page.
"Another massive terrorist attack on Ukraine at night! The last line of communication between Zaporizhzhia NPP and the power grid was disconnected due to shelling. This is the seventh time since the beginning of the occupation! ZNPP has lost the external power supply necessary for its safe operation, in particular for cooling the nuclear material of the power units. The plant's diesel generators are operating in emergency mode. rashists are once again bringing the world to the brink of disaster, violating all the principles of nuclear safety. The civilised world must give a worthy response," the Minister said.
He also stressed that only pressure and sanctions against rosatom can force the aggressor to stop terror.
