The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 168 million to the State Property Fund to maintain the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline in good condition. The funds allocated from the state budget reserve fund will allow for timely routine maintenance of the facility, which is important for preventing technogenic emergencies. The Government made the decision at a meeting on 7 May.
“The allocated funds will allow to keep the ammonia pipeline in good condition, which is important for the safety of the population living nearby. In addition, part of the funds will be used to pay salaries to employees of the state-owned enterprise, which is not operating in its core business today due to objective circumstances. This is very necessary for people to feel the support of the state in these difficult times. The decision will also allow us to retain qualified professional staff working at the enterprise,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Fomenko.
