Andrii Sybiha to visit the UK

On Thursday, November 13, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha is scheduled to visit London.

In the capital of the United Kingdom, the head of the Foreign Ministry, together with Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper, are to open a meeting of the political dimension of the Ukraine-UK Strategic Partnership Dialogue.

The Minister also plans to hold bilateral talks with his British counterpart and visit the British Parliament, where he will meet with representatives of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, led by Committee's Chair Emily Thornberry, and members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine.

Andrii Sybiha, together with Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Brusylo, is due to meet with British Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister is scheduled to take part in Ukrainian Week in the UK, which is being held to strengthen Ukrainian-British ties within the framework of the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies, under the patronage of Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The key topics of the visit will be the implementation of agreements between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the realization of a 100-year partnership, increased sanctions pressure and isolation of moscow, strengthening Ukraine's long-range capabilities, further promotion of reforms, and the fight against corruption.
