The Ministry of Economy has expanded the list of agricultural machinery and equipment produced by Ukrainian manufacturers, for the purchase of which farmers can receive 25% compensation from the Government. The programme now includes 11,771 units of machinery from 133 Ukrainian companies. The Ministry of Economy approved the relevant order on 22 October.
"Another 7 new companies producing agricultural machinery and equipment have joined the state programme. The list of Ukrainian machinery, for the purchase of which the state compensates farmers 25% of the cost, has increased by 324 items and amounts to almost 11,800 items. The state support, which is part of the Made in Ukraine policy, helps farmers to upgrade their machinery fleet on favourable terms, and the Ukrainian machine building industry receives an additional incentive for development," said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
To benefit from the state support programme and receive 25% compensation for the cost of purchased machinery or equipment, an agricultural producer must select a supplier from the list on the Ministry of Economy's website, purchase the necessary machinery and submit an application and supporting documents to an authorised bank an applicaton and relevant supporting documents.
Producers wishing to include their machinery in the List may contact the Ministry of Economy via the official e-mail address: meconomy@me.gov.ua. The application must be submitted in electronic form using an electronic signature or other means of identification that allow to establish the identity of the Director or authorised person.
The list of machinery and equipment is regularly updated after verification of the localisation of production. Compliance of manufacturers is determined in accordance with the criteria set out in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 130 dated 1 March 2017 (as amended).
