As of mid-July, heating metering devices have been installed at 80%, or over 65,000 residential buildings. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko at a meeting dedicated to the state of preparing for the heating season, chaired by the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

"The leaders in the number of residential buildings equipped with commercial thermal energy metering systems are Cherkasy, Mykolayiv, Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia regions. The worst performance is demonstrated by Kirovohrad, Luhansk and Ternopil regions", said Hennadii Zubko.

Regarding the availability of heating meters in non-residential buildings, namely budget and other institutions – the coverage is almost 79%. The leading region is Mykolayiv. The worst performance is demonstrated by Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.
