
The Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region takes place in Geneva
On March 1-2, 2018 the Regional Forum
on Sustainable Development for the United Nations
Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Region is taking place
in Geneva.
Forum's participants are
exchanging of lessons learned, concrete experiences, practical solutions and challenges in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To this
end, 5 parallel round tables are
organized on the following goals
under in-depth review: Clean water
and Sanitation (SDG 6); Affordable and clean energy (SDG 7); Sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11); Sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12) and Protection of Forests and
ecosystems (SDG 15).
The experts of
the State Agency on Energy
Efficiency and Energy Saving of
Ukraine as well as the
representatives of the Permanent Mission
of Ukraine in Geneva participate
in the Regional
Forum.
