The average wage
in Ukraine under the current
conditions should make up at
least 10 thousand hryvnias,
and this figure is shaped due to the growth of
the economy and deshadowing of economy. This was
stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman.
"Average earning
under the present circumstances should be increased
to UAH 10,000. We give citizens debts. People,
who receive minimum wage and
salary in envelope are socially
unprotected, thus when they retire
they receive minimum pension. It is essential
to ensure the full legalization
of wages", the Head of
Government underscored.
The Prime Minister
stressed the wage growth does
not lead to uncontrolled price hikes. "The increase of
wages did not affect the
growth of prices. Our system
of deshadowing was designed to
eradicate grey economic schemes. We have invested
these funds, for example, in
educators and in restoration of respect for
the Ukrainian teacher", the Prime Minister underlined.
