  • Minister of Infrastructure announces creation of the Center of Transport Innovations HypeUa

    February 22, 2018, a Memorandum on the launch of the transport innovation project HypeUA, which envisages the development of emerging transport technologies in Ukraine, first of all, the high-speed transport system Hyperloop, was signed in the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

    This initiative was backed by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, State Concern Ukroboronprom Octagonal Corporation, a state-owned factory Yuzhmash, Unit.City, etc.

    "Ukraine has not lost its scientific and personnel potential, we are still number-one foundry of personnel and technologies. We must focus on upgrading of our technologies and entering into the top of advanced countries of the world, which are considering the construction of innovative modes of transport, in particular, Hyperloop," the Minister underscored.

    "We launch the transport innovation project HypeUA, within the framework of which we will prepare the ground for the development of innovative transport systems in Ukraine. We are considering the possibility of creating of the first test site in Dnipro",Volodymyr Omelyan stressed.
