Prime Minister reports on the performance of the Cabinet of Ministers and the topmost objectives set for 2018
In accordance
with the law the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman presented a Report of the Cabinet of Ministers’
activities in 2017 and outlined the essential objectives for 2018. The
presentation took place within the framework of the Government’s session.
The Prime
Minister stressed that last year had been rather complicated, but positive
changes were obvious. Among those are the positive dynamics of economic growth
has been preserved and fundamental changes in various spheres of the state's
activity launched - from the public finance system, the system of economic regulations
and the system of business taxation to the social sphere, in particular
education, healthcare, and the pension system.
"I am well
aware of the problems that are in abundance, but we should be ready to overcome
them," said Volodymyr Groysman.
According to him, achieving the goal is considered possible due to the new
quality of public administration, the policy of increasing the incomes of
citizens, providing an appropriate level of security.
"I would
like to commend the Parliament, a team of ministers for we withstood the difficult
year, in which we achieved certain results. We managed to maintain economic upturn.
We are boosting production, people are getting employment opportunities. But if
we want to catch up with our partners, our priority is to reinforce economic
growth," the Head of Government summed up.
