the EU were able to meet and exchange views on the opportunities and challenges
of each of the countries in the context of the implementation of the
Association Agreements and the DCFTA functioning.
General
Director of the Government Office for Coordination of European and
Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna presented
Ukraine during the meeting of this working group.
In

EU-UA Association Agreement implementation. "Due to the fact that we have
established the horizontal principles of functioning of the economy in Ukraine
and started doing business in accordance with the obligations under the
Agreement, we took over the best practices of the EU," Olga Stefanishyna said.
In
addition, it was said that Ukraine actually completed a comprehensive
legislative and institutional process of market establishment of surveillance
system, passed legislation on companies' activities and competition, in
particular, state aid to economic entities in accordance with EU acts.
The

indicates Ukraine's readiness to fully use all opportunities within the
framework of the Agreement. As for now, the Government, along with the
Parliament, is working on the adoption of the necessary legislation, in particular
in the field of customs policy, intellectual property, technical regulation.
Olga Stefanishyna noted the important contribution to the

adoption of qualitative European integration legislative initiatives, as well
as their proper implementation by the Government.
