Focusing on the digital economy will allow Ukraine to accelerate economic growth, as well as notch up its success and competitiveness among the countries of the globe. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine during a meeting with business circles and experts in the digital market sector. The event was organized within the framework of the discussion of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy and Society of Ukraine for 2018 - 2020.

"The issue of the digital economy is as relevant as ever. If we focus on the development of digital economy, we can achieve success," stressed Volodymyr Groysman. "We need rapid economic upturn, and we have everything necessary to ensure it."

The Head of Government accentuated that the introduction of new technologies is the key to achieving the strategic goal. "We need a booster," said the Prime Minister. "We have rather good signals in the economy performance, but we understand that a 2-3% growth is insufficient. Our objective is "5% plus"… Our task is to become one of the most powerful economies in Europe."
