Ukraine and
Georgia uphold the principles of strategic partnership and stand ready to
deepen bilateral ties, develop shared opportunities and jointly conquer new
markets. Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
said during a meeting with Irakli Kobakhidze,
Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.
"I want to
thank Georgia for the steadfast support of Ukraine. This is a major priority for us. We
have every reason to deepen cooperation, in particular in the economy,"
said Volodymyr Groysman.
He drew attention to the fact that commodity turnover between the states is constantly growing and is currently estimated at dozens of millions of dollars. Great potential is attributed to joint international projects, namely The New Silk Road, aimed at the development of logistics capabilities of the two countries.
