
Volodymyr Groysman vows Ukrainian army will receive decent financing
The Ukrainian army
will receive a decent financial support this year,
both in terms
of costs of maintaining military personnel and in the
modernization of armaments, stated Prime Minister
of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The Head of
Government is on working visit
to Donetsk region. In the
framework of the trip he
visited a checkpoint Gnutove, where he got acquainted
with the state of crossing
of the separation
line, talked with residents and servicemen.
"I express gratitude to our
military and those who restrain the
aggressor in the East. Our
task is to
ensure a decent financing of the army.
This year we have allocated
a sum worth UAH 165 billion both for
providing and for technical modernization,"
the Prime Minister remarked.
The Head of
Government placed a special emphasis on the necessity
to ensure the conditions for crossing the
separation line.
"We reached
an agreement (with Donetsk regional
military-civilian administration) to
create normal conditions for security and everyday
life in order
for people to cross the
line normally," the Prime Minister
added.
