On December 19, in Vinnytsia Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak have signed the trilateral Memorandum on joint use of Vinnytsia aerodrome with Head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Valerii Korovii and City Mayor Serhii Morhunov.

General Poltorak remarked that joint use of aerodromes by military and civil aviation is a common worldwide practice.

“Experience of joint use of aerodrome network is a popular world practice. Due to this decision, the aerodrome infrastructure will be developed, it will work in favour of the army aviation”, Poltorak stated.

This agreement will enable to initiate activities aimed at realizing the government program on reconstruction and development of Vinnytsia airport. The qualitative aerodrome infrastructure will increase quality and security of flights. Moreover, the international modern airport is a strategic issue in development of Vinnytsia.
