Volodymyr Groysman: We have adopted the budget and we will enter 2018 with confidence
The timely
adoption of the 2018 State Budget Law will allow the Government to gear up for
all financial innovations and enter the new year with
confidence, told Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on air of 112.ua TV channel.
He thanked the
parliamentarians for their support and stressed that the budgeting process has
actually completed "the autumn of reforms", which should now ignite
"the spring of changes" and the adoption of further crucial decisions
for the state aimed at accelerating economic growth.
"In 2018, it
is vital to adopt a series of decisions allowing us to improve the economy’s
performance," the Head of Government emphasized. He reminded that separate
initiatives in need have already been endorsed. First of all, it concerns
introducing of VAT deferral when importing equipment to modernize industry and
reduce rent in gas production. Meanwhile, this work needs to be prolonged.
The Prime
Minister drew attention to the fact that economic recovery will be the pledge
to raising social standards, primarily the minimum wage as was proposed by the
President and Parliament at the level of UAH 4100-4200.
"And our
challenge is to increase an average salary rate up to 10 thousand UAH. The
