The Government urges the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to adopt tomorrow, December 7, a draft state budget that was timely submitted and passed in-depth discussion, thus it will allow to prepare a budget-related decision and to enter a new fiscal year. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the Government sitting.

"Tomorrow, is a big day for the Parliament. Since mid-September we have been holding discussions and shaping an ambitious budget draft for 2018. We have a chance to adopt it in a timely manner. This is the budget of development and economic growth, which envisages modernization of Ukraine. Everyone will have a choice tomorrow, whethe  to create and build, or to demolish. I will always stand with those who are developing the country and will be against those who destroy it. It is a time to give backing to the state budget. Our daily life in 2018 depends on the tomorrow’s decision", emphasized the Prime Minister.

Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the state budget offered by the Government encapsulates effective tools for economic development, ensuring people's well-being, introducing industrial modernization, building infrastructure and implementing energy efficiency programs.

"We will allocate funding to education and health care system. We will give people confidence that the situation is changing for the better", the Prime Minister underscored and added words of gratitude to the President of Ukraine and MPs for their assistance in carrying out the budget process.
