Economy and leverage
investment should become the strategic
directions of cooperation between Ukraine and the
United States. This was announced
by Deputy Minister of Energy
and Coal Industry of Ukraine
on European Integration Natalia Boyko during the
presentation of the results of
the foreign policy audit TRUMAN Index.
"There has
been a tangible and positive shift
in our relations
with the United States. A good signal is
the norm of the US sanctioning
law, concerning the energy security
of Ukraine, which relates to
Russia’s energy project "Nord Stream 2", that bypasses Ukraine", the Deputy Minister
emphasized.
A significant breakthrough
is the supply
of American anthracite. According to Natalia Boyko,
a separate focus should be placed
on energy and cyber security
in relations between the two
countries.
