A social care of the
participants of the Revolution of Dignity and
their families was and remains
an overriding issue for the
Government. Each participant of these significant
events for Ukraine should feel protection and support. This
statement was issued by Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The Head of Government met
with its participants on the eve of the anniversary of the Revolution of
Dignity.
"It is vitally important
that we can find an interaction," said the Prime Minister,
"We do not meet exactly
before the date. We hold
a meeting in order to "synchronize our watches", to talk about problems
and to find
solutions."
During the meeting the parties
discussed a wide range of issues,
from training organization, health improvement to providing people with housing and
making changes to the legislation
on the social
status of the participants of the Revolution.
Following the discussion, the Head of Government
proposed to submit a series of proposals to
the Cabinet of Ministers in
order to define further steps in the
social policy of the Government
and local authorities.
"There will be corresponding
commissions to the Ministry of
Healthcare of Ukraine, to the
Ministry of Education and Science
of Ukraine and etc. We
should also draw a line under
the issue concerning funding that you are
entitled to. We will make
every effort in order for us not to be ashamed to look into the
eyes of our
heroes, their families and our
children", underscored
the Prime Minister.
