On October 26-27, 2017 the 13^th session of the Group of Experts on Cleaner Electricity Production from Fossil Fuels of the Committee on Sustainable Energy of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing issues related to a future role for thermal power plants in sustainable electricity systems, increasing flexibility in coal power generation  as well as the Group of Experts' Report on implementation of the Action plan for 2016-2017 and proposals to its Action plan for 2018-2019.

The representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 13^th session of the Group of Experts.
