Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Poland held consultations on United Nations Security Council related issues
Bilateral Consultations between
Ukraine and Poland on the
United Nations Security Council related issues took place in
Kyiv on 20 October 2017. The delegations were headed by Deputy
Ministers for Foreign Affairs – Sergiy Kyslytsya of Ukraine and
Joanna Wronecka of Poland.
The parties discussed
a wide range of issues on
the United Nations Security Council agenda. The Ukrainian side
expressed its readiness to cooperate
constructively with the delegation of Poland during
its tenure in the Security
Council beginning in 2018 and share
its own experience
of the Council’s
membership in 2016-2017. Both sides agreed
to further strengthen bilateral cooperation within the framework of
the United Nations in general
and continue consultations on every aspect of
the United Nations important agenda.
