
Volodymyr Groysman claims there are no reasons for gas price hike
There are no reasons for increasing
the gas price
in Ukraine, hence it of
utmost importance to prevent the
growth of prices for heat
and hot water
on the ground.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine
Volodymyr Groysman announced on air
of 112. UA. TV channel.
«I do not
see any reasons to change
the gas price. The tarrifs on heat and
hot water should remain unchanged
on the ground»,
emphasized the Prime Minister.
The Head of
Government recalled the responsibility for the tariff
policy is borne by the
local authorities and added that
he expects local leaders will assume responsibility
as well as
will not allow any
price hikes. Moreover,
the Prime Minister assured that there are
no problems in providing subsidies.
"We have
sufficient financial resources in order
to ensure social protection for everyone who
needs it, and next year
we plan to
allocate the sum worth UAH 55 billion, all people
who are entitled
to a subsidy will receive it
- irrevocably, without any hurdles. This is targeted aid,
nobody will be left alone
with problems», Volodymyr Groysman asserted.
