Unshadowing of the work of the Ukrainian customs allows the country to accumulate in the budget a significant amount of money that earlier would "be plundered". On the outcomes of the year, over-execution of the planned customs revenues will amount to UAH 50 billion. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.

"We began to get money circulating in shadow schemes and to transfer them to the budget. This is crucial, and I thank the customs officers, the SFS, the head of the Service Myroslav Prodan", explained Volodymyr Groysman. "We have already allocated the sum worth UAH 8 billion (as a result of over-execution of the customs revenue plans) to road construction and repairs. On the result of the year’s end this amount will grow up to UAH 12 billion."
