Prime Minister: Expenditures for healthcare sector make up UAH 10 billion this year, the figure will increase the next year
The state budget
of the current year envisages financing of the health care system along various
programs in the amount of about UAH 10 billion, and the next year this figure
will increase. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
during A Question Time
for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"We are allocating
UAH 10 billion for a wide range of programs, including in the regions, first of
all, to promote the development of medicine and the purchase of emergency
equipment. We shall analyze the real state of affairs (in the system of applying
funds) and have plans to raise spending for health
care", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
He reminded that on the initiative of the Government this year there had been launched in Ukraine the program Available Medicine and the program of building of 13 cardiology centres, thereby providing opportunity to save lives and reduce deaths from cardiovascular diseases.
