Volodymyr Groysman: Ukrainian schools should use digital technologies
The Ukrainian school,
which switches to the new
standards of learning, is due
to become digital and to
have access to modern technologies
to the full
extent. This was stated by
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman during communication with high school seniors
of the teaching
and educational complex "Erudyt" in Kyiv.
«We are planning the sum
worth UAH 1 billion to modernize programs
of the first
and fourth grades in the
draft state budget. I would like pupils of
the first and fourth grades
to be equipped
with interactive blackboards,
tablets and all the necessary
components for modern learning. Starting from the next year, this
is our task
to be kicked
off. I believe that the Ukrainian
school should become digital. Technologies need to be
embedded in the educational process,
because the world is changing,
and this digital environment should be available
even from the kindergarten», the Prime Minister
accentuated.
Volodymyr Groysman recalled
that the Cabinet of Ministers
conducts negotiations with the
governments of the partner countries
in order to purchase a modern
educational product, adapted as much
as possible to the conditions
and requirements of the Ukrainian
school.
