The Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine plans to approve and, in the near future, to submit to the
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law on the management of lands outside populated
areas, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during the Gov’t session on Wednesday.
He emphasized that the document extends, first of all, the rights of the consolidated territorial communities. "Today we will submit it (a bill) to the Parliament, and will request the Parliament to consider it the next plenary week. It is necessary for the communities to have the absolute right to dispose of lands outside their settlements. The bill has been long awaited", the Head of Government said.
