The Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine intends to continue financing
inclusive education development programs as that allows
children with disabilities to receive a quality education. This was stated by Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
«This year
we allocated UAH 209 million for inclusive
education in Ukraine. Marina Poroshenko (wife of the President
of Ukraine) took a serious patronage over this issue. I am
convinced that we will increasingly
have inclusive educational institutions, where access to
high-quality knowledge is possible. We
will invest more in it
(inclusive)», the Prime Minister said.
He accentuated the
role of local
authorities in this process and
placed a
special emphasis on adaption of buildings to
the needs of people with
disabilities.
Volodymyr Groysman urged
to demonstrate warmth and kindness
to children with disabilities. «No one has
the right to restrict them,
we must form
a single environment», the Prime Minister
accentuated.
