We increased both potential and fire capabilities of our units, says Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak

“Every year we look for new formats of the Independence Day celebration. It has been a good tradition to show the people of Ukraine the changes taking place in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Last year, we presented a new military uniform, this year we present new models of armament and weapons that can be viewed during a few days of exhibition,” the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak said.

The exhibition of military materiel boasts with modernized armament, as well as new models of military equipment produced at factories and enterprises of the Ukraine’s defense industrial complex. In particular, the Oplot tank, which will soon be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, modernized T-72 tank, armored vehicles Varta and Kozak. “We have fully equipped tank units, increased both the potential and fire capabilities of our troops,” the head of the Defense Department said
