The Ministry of Finance continues its internal reform

On August 18, the Government approved a number of regulations paving the way for the next stage of the public administration reform.

What’s it about?

As a part of the reform of public service, the Government is starting an open contest for new positions at 10 pilot ministries including the Ministry of Finance, Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the National Agency for Public Service and National Agency for E-Government.The key goal is to improve the quality of public service and public governance in Ukraine. The Ministries shall now pay special attention to the set-up of state policy and enhancement of the personnel capacities of public service. The pilot ministries will create new units - directorates.

Thanks to the open selection contests, public service will be able to win a significant number of new professionals from business and civil sector as well as the best experts from the public sector.
