  • Ukrainians will drive along normal roads, says Volodymyr Groysman during road inspection

    The public road system is to be qualitatively improved already in 3-5 years, in order for citizens to be able to drive along good roads, claimed Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman while inspecting the state of road works in Dnipropetrovsk region. The Head of Government is on a working visit to the region and has already examined two sections of highways H-08 Boryspil - Dnipropetrovsk -Zaporizhia and M04 - Znamyanka - LuhanskIzvaryne. He emphasized that a sum worth more than one billion hryvnias was allocated for road works in Dnipropetrovsk region and the task is to use efficiently these funds and to ensure control and quality of work on roads that "have not been repaired and built for decades."

    «I am satisfied with the progress of work, we need to attract more resources in order to wind up the launched the projects and to start new ones. He recalled that the State Strategy for the Development of Road Transport is currently being elaborated. We are moving further. We built a number of roads, in particular  in the western part of the country it's a road Lviv-Odessa, to construction of which a sum worth UAH 800 million was allocated. The constructions activities are underway. The Government also started construction of two roads in the eastern direction. Intense activities are being carried compared with the last year. The situation will drastically change for the better in 3-5 years. Ukrainians will drive along normal roads», the Prime Minister underscored.
