The Government appointed Evhen Kravtsov, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Head of the Supervisory Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia as acting chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia. The corresponding decision was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine was commissioned to immediately launch the procedure for holding a public competition for the new head of Ukrzaliznytsia.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved resignation letter submitted by the Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun.
