The Cabinet of Ministers approved a technical decision to liquidate the Antonov State Aircraft Construction Concern and thus finalized the steps having taken earlier aimed to restructure the aircraft industry and transfer the companies - members of the Group under the responsibility of another structure - State Concern “Ukroboronprom”.

The ordinance stipulating for the transfer of enterprises was approved in 2015. The Kharkiv State Aviation Enterprsie and the Plant 410 Civil Aviation State Enterprise were placed under the supervision of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom". With the current decision, the Government has formalized all previously adopted decisions, ensured the legislative framework in this issue, and separately commissioned the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine to establish a liquidation commission and wind up the process of dissolving of the Group. The liquidation commission is headed by Deputy Minister Yurii Brovchenko.
