  • Prime Minister called on the Parliament to begin autumn session with consideration of medical, educational and pension reforms

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman called on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to open the autumn session with consideration of the most fundamental reforms, inter alia educational, medical and pension. This statement was issued by the Head of Government in the course of A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday.

    Volodymyr Groysman thanked MPs for an efficient vote on July 13 and the adoption of amendments to the state budget as well as the approval of the draft pension law in the first reading. The Head of Government stressed that this is an important step in the large-scale pension reform, which will allow to reinstate justice to people who have worked all their lives.

    «Colleagues from the Petro Poroshenko Block, thank you very much for your understanding, I am grateful to party members from People’s Front faction for the support of the Government and backing decisions that are really important for citizens. Friends, thank you, and I am convinced that in the fall, with new forces, we will continue qualitative changes in the country. I would like to express gratitude to all factions for the fact that from time to time we find mutual understanding and you help to improve initiatives. We need to put aside different political flags and to take one flag-the state flag», stressed the Prime Minister.

    Moreover, Volodymyr Groysman put an emphasis to the fact that medical and educational reforms are on the agenda.

    The Head of Government is assured that the bills on educational, medical and pension reforms will be adopted by the Parliament.
