Over the past three years Ukraine has made a dramatic progress undergoing transformations, for this very reason the official Kyiv has an unwavering and the staunchest support of international allies, stressed Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of Great Britain Boris Johnson during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in London.
«Ukraine has had more reforms in 3 years since the revolution than in the previous 2 decades since independence. Foreign businesses working in Ukraine and companies planning to enter the Ukrainian market assert that», emphasized Boris Johnson.
He also added that similar opinion was shared by representatives of the international community engaged in the Ukrainian Reform Conference underway today in London.
According to the Foreign Secretary, the Ukrainian Government intends to achieve ambitious goals amid current challenges, but the international community is optimistic about Ukraine. «You (Ukraine) have a firm support for the reform agenda», the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of Great Britain noted and commended among Government’s achievements the introduction of an electronic public procurement system as well as system of electronic asset declarations for civil servants, etc.
«Ukraine is moving in the right direction», emphasized Boris Johnson, adding that Great Britain is interested to establish deeper political and economic cooperation, both in terms of investing and increasing trade turnover between two countries.
