Ukrainian and U.S. militaries reaffirm their strategic bilateral partnership

Ukrainian and US military delegations discussed further bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed long-term strategic partnership in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The Ukrainian delegation held consultations with Deputy U.S. Europe Commander General Timothy Ray and Director of Strategy and Planning General David Allvin. The US party reaffirmed the U.S. support to Ukraine.

The parties shared experience on receipt and use of the U.S. states assistance in all spheres, including training, cyber security, and regional cooperation and reached preliminary agreements with General Adjutant of US National Guard Forces in California General David Baldwin regarding development of cooperation in many spheres, particularly in development of combat capabilities of aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training, as well as defence diplomacy events.

The Ukrainian party briefed on priorities of development and reforms of the Ukrainian army.
